COVID-19 Precautions

CDC Updated COVID-19 Guidance Regarding Masks:

According to the Kentucky Department for Public Health, licensed massage therapists are included in healthcare settings. This setting requires masks until further notice.

COVID-19 Precautions:

The office is implementing precautions, to minimize the spread of infection. We have a small office, with a maximum number of 4 people when full, for sessions. As usual, please reschedule if you feel ill. If you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or similar symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, other cold or flu-like symptoms), please wait 2 weeks before scheduling an appointment. Since the virus is contagious, and you can be infected without ever showing symptoms, the office is operating in a new way.

1. Please wait in your car, until the time of your appointment. Only the person with the appointment will be allowed to enter the office. Children may be accompanied by one parent.

2. Everyone is required to wear a face mask, for the duration of time in the office and session. The mask will need to cover the mouth AND nose the entire time. If you need to borrow a cloth mask, I will lend one.

3. Upon entry for your appointment, there will be a temperature check. Entering and leaving the office, please clean your hands.

4. As usual, hand and forearm washing will be done before and after each session.  Three HEPA filters will be running for the entire day of sessions.

5. All commonly touched surfaces will be disinfected between appointments and at the end of the day (table, handles, light switches, bathroom surfaces).

Thank you for understanding, and be well!
